Hi, Following on this, there is another opportunity that'll come up soon to make CLUG further known.
One of the NZCS events in the near future will allow every interest group in Canterbury - CLUG among them - to present itself. Details of the event as they'll become available. As I mentioned to Rik earlier there are other avenues to increase CLUG's visibility by taking advantage of NZCS's series of events. The sponsorship option is not that easy, the sponsorship agreements are already in place so we'll leave this option for know. Here is a summary of the proposed events organised by NZCS: Sep - Virtualisation Oct - Web 2 Nov - Open Messaging Platforms If some of you think you can contribute to any of this events let me know. The list of events is not closed by any means and CLUG can propose a subject to be presented entirely by its members. Just to mention that "Linux ready for the corporate desktop and servers" was a subject recently presented by Andreas Girardet so the proposed subject will have to be different. Maybe the use of application? Keep in mind that the scope of NZCS is to increase the professional knowledge of its members. Any suggestions welcomed.
