We *did* have an entry in chap-secrets, but we deleted it. I am curious how it got there anyway. 2.23 NoEC Yup. When the modem connects we see CONNECT 52000 NoEC (or similar). This is quite an old list, but I suspect the same problems exist now that were noted then, and I hope that the same solutions will apply. I am sure this is not the introduction to Linux Alan was looking forward to, but I suppose really we have Microsoft to thank for all of this. Andrew
