They sent me an email recently saying that my free status would remain until some time in 2007. There is also a book by Marcel Gagne called something like "Kissing the Blue Screen of Death Goodbye" - it is in the ChCh Central Library. If you subscribe, its free, and you can download the higher res pdfs. There are articles for all levels, but issue 13 has, for example, "A Beginner's Introduction to the GNU/Linux Command Line" "Structured Writing With LyX"
