Dlink routers send malformed dns packets when you request an IPv6
address(AAAA record) from DNS using IPv4. What does ifconfig report?

If your internet connection is very congested you may find that DNS
requests (being UDP) are lost and you get a "host not found" response.
Don't know about malformed packets though.
