As long as it's i686, unlike some Mini-ITX boards etc. They would also want to be reasonably Linux proficient, as hand configuring is required. I look at Arch as a cross between Slack and Gentoo; similar filesystem layout etc to Slack except with dependency handling package manager. I think the thing that I liked about it is the simplicity of creating or modifying a PKGBUILD which makes it very easy to include packages that you built from source without messing with the package manager. It also allows for modifications to the standard packages if you want a different compile option.
