Ah-ha! This is my ISP.[1]

Here is the contents of my /etc/ppp/options file

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
lock
noauth
noipdefault
usepeerdns
mtu 1456
mru 1456
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The following configuration options are selected in kppp;

kppp --> Configure --> <select a/c name> --> edit --> Dial --> Authentication
--> PAP

kppp --> Configure --> <select a/c name> --> edit --> IP --> Dynamic IP
Address

kppp --> Configure --> <select a/c name> --> edit --> Gateway --> Default
gateway

kppp --> Configure --> <select a/c name> --> edit --> DNS --> Configuration
--> Dynamic

Selecting the Show Log Window box will bring up a progress update which can be
usefull for debugging.

I hope that this info will get you going.

Cheers Ross Drummond

[1] My ISP is Snap, but Snap & inet are the same outfit.
