Sorry to be a bit of a failure over the orgainising of talk subjects, but during the recent months I have been run off my back legs emotionally with a family medical issue, which - thank goodness - seems to have been very successfully resolved. I thought that it might be an idea to demonstrate how to install software. I can give a talk about installing from tarballs. ( Triggered by a recent thread ) BUT I need extra bodies to talk about rpm, yum, apt-get etc. etc. about which I know very little. Volunteers? Interest? btw, If some other good soul would like to do this business of thinking up talk subjects, and cajolling reluctant speakers to make themselves available, I would be more than over-the-moon to let them do it. -- CS
