Bottom line seems to be (as I mentioned before): avoid nforce 430. The
third link might have a solution for you, but don't hold your breath.
Look on trademe for a sound card... or try installing nvidia's
binary-only mobo driver (which isn't the same as the binary-only
graphics driver).
