I've tried several times today to install (using Synaptic) totem-xine-firefox-plugin (version 1.4.3-0ubuntu1) and keep hitting the same roadblock:
"W: Failed to fetch http://nz.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/t/totem/totem-xine-firefox-plugin_1.4.3-0ubuntu1_i386.deb Could not connect to nz.archive.ubuntu.com:80 (202.7.6.9). - connect (111 Connection refused)" I've never had this problem before. I just ran Synaptic to install 13 updates, and the logging in and updating went without a hitch - but the installation of totem-xine-firefox-plugin failed, with the same error. Googling yields very little except some comments about ipV6 fouling things up. But as I didn't have any problem (other than pathetically slow downloading - on the order of 14 kBps on my 3.5 MB? line) accessing 13 other files on the same server, I can't see how it's a problem with ipV6 vs ipV4. The system is Ubuntu Dapper (6.06) for i386 running on a P-IV with 512 MB of RAM. Any suggestions? TIA =====Andrew
