Ah thats helpful, but not quite there yet. What I am trying to alter is: When I reply to a message I get a window that has the top 50% filled like so: Compose: Re Evolution File Edit Insert ect ........... >From field To: field. Then several blue lines that look like writing paper The bottom ones being blank lines. Subject field Body Text variable Width various icons and then finally the message body blah blah blah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah blablah bla and way down the bottom I can start writing (which should please the top quoters :-) what I am wanting to do is make all the top stuff smaller ie starting from Compose: Re Evolution down to where the body of the e-mail is; especially I want those silly blank blue lines made way smaller so I can read the body not all the info at top. Hope I am making a bit more sense now :-) Sorry to be so laborious, but I want this set up once and for all so I can stop fiddling with it and get on and use it :-) Regards Reg
