On the other hand, the music and movie industries - and folks like
Microsoft - are aiming for a future where everything electronic includes
copy-protection.

Having the right to make fair use of non-copy-protected stuff doesn't
do me much good if everything's copy-protected.

Copying music from your CDs to your MP3 player currently counts as
copyright infringement in NZ. It's not a _criminal_ offense at all.
