Don't forget Bram has joined the commercial world. He is widely regarded
by the BT community as having "sold out". Sadly I don't believe he will
necessarily be leading the future development of the protocol. This may,
unfortunately, lead to some fragmentation, with different clients
proceeding in different directions on some features.

FWIW I think rtorrent is the best bt client for linux, by a country mile.
I am running it on freebsd.
