Come on Don, use your head. First, look underneath the laptop for the model number, it is usually of the form xxxx-xxx, then go to ibm.com and type that into the search box. This should come back with the specifications of that particular model. In the specifications will be the RAM type and speed. Failing that, a quick Google for 't23 ram' will give you the information.
