FREE

Has anyone else ever noticed that "free" always seems to be in
capitals in advertising material (online or off)?

When it is, it's the surest flag for "too good to be true" - that is, there's going to be a catch..

It always puts me off a bit.
Maybe I'm just weird.

..so not really - a standard & wise instinctive reservation.

Cheers,
Carl.

This is probably why the subtle and more nuanced "Free" was devised.

- A proper noun, for proper value, it seems.

Cheers,
