Many thanks. Yes it uses grub, I tried doing it manually, but it would not
let me edit the file. There were also comments in the file saying don't
modify and altered by Yast, which gave me a clue that maybe it can be done
via Yast so I went there and Walla! Yast has an option to change the default
boot loader. So now it is changed and works like a treat.

This is a sort of temporary fix to my underlying problem of why the computer
keeps spontaneously rebooting. Maybe hardware, but it doesn't seem to be
running too hot or nothing.
