Thanks Nick, just what I was about to say. Look for the boot loader "sections" in yast, select the one you want to be default, and select "set as default" from a drop-down thing somewhere in the bottom right. This approach is the same regardless whether you're running lilo or grub, meaning you don't need to care or know. If you want to know, yast show's what's currently active.
