Now that is a smart idea!
Do you happen to know where the screen saver password is saved? Can I
change it from my server?
ie. You grab a ticket from the desk, you type it in, the machine
unlocks and at the same time I can then roll over the screen saver password?
Also, do you know if the x screen saver will force it self on?
Ben, these are half random thoughts, please, no need to research, just
random response :)
Cheers Don

Use x screensaver on a timer with the "password" set to the ticket number.

If the project goes ahead, I will be setting the 4 machines up with

Specs along the same lines of those I got from Craig last month.
What is the reasoning for Opera?
Perhaps having Firefox and Opera?
The issue that I am asking for guidance with is the 'ticket/billing
system'.
I'm calling on your ferreting abilities to hunt down a FOSS solution
within the scope I've presented so that we can create another example in
my local community of just how Linux can empower a small business.
Have you tried having a look?
