It gives you a gui to edit menu.lst for booting any other system, but you still have to enter the paths. If you want to browse unmounted partitions, you'll have to mount them first with the partition editor, then you can browse with your favourite directory listing tool. You might also get an automatic suggestion of a boot entry for any mounted filesystem that looks like a root filesystem. If you find it convenient to temp mount filesystems to auto-create a boot entry for it, open an enhancement request in the bug tracker.
