Well Steve, this email is sent from Evolution on Ubuntu Feisty (on
Vmware) and I must say that in the short play I have had today I am also
impressed.
I will try it on a laptop now to see if it is as good as Mepis with the
wireless card.
Well other than having to authorise my wireless connection every time I
am still quite impressed with the latest Ubuntu version and am thinking
of trying it on the wife's laptop.
I like the fact that, if you download the iso from the NZ mirror, it
sets of all of the repositories to point to the NZ site too. Makes for
good speeds when adding or updating software.
Only thing that makes me nervous about loading it on Paula's laptop at
the moment is not knowing of a Gnome equivalent of KIM for resizing her
trademe photos.
Anyone know of such an equivalent?
