Yes, I realise that.  What I actually meant was "why is there no
equivalent plugin for fish available for firefox?".

I've done that many times over the last 1.5 years - there's nothing
available. 

There's not even any any discussions in google I can find about why a
equivalent fish: plugin is not available or possible for firefox etc. 

It's always struck me as very strange given how much konqueror users
rave about fish.
