Yes, I use FUSE and sshfs as well and they are very good on the command
line. 

There's nothing quite like using fish: in konqueror though. 

Being able quickly drag and drop a bunch of files from a local directory
onto a remote server or select right mouse button edit on a remote file
to edit it locally. 

It looks like Konqueror is it for the GUI based ssh interface for the
time being.
