That's a generalisation. I'm on 10+ mailing lists which have unsubscribe information listed at the end. In my experience list members are very good at trimming their own emails. The large majority of members on this list certainly do a great job of trimming emails. > Thats a reason its in the headers. Where 98% of people will never see it and have to ask on the list anyway. I'd be happy with a one line unsubscribe message added to the end of posts. Either that, or have the list server automatically send a short admin email periodically (once every 2-4 weeks) with list subscribe / unsubscribe details. That would be a great place to also list relevant links to the clug website, other related resources etc.
