You have to have the drivers for the filesystem on which the root (/) is to be
mounted as well as the correct low-level driver for the scsi host adaptor built
in to the kernel - as opposed to as modules. Take care here. Get the exact model
of the host adaptor from the scsi system setup program accessed at boot up time.
Note also that the list of low-level scsi drivers in the kernel config system is
not in alphabetical order. (!)
