Packman and Guru are the two big 3rdparty repositories. So these two > http://mirror.pacific.net.au/linux/packman/suse/10.2/ > http://packman.iu-bremen.de/suse/10.2 are Packman and are the same (unless one of them is incomplete), and > ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/suser-guru/rpm/10.2 that's Guru. Packages are increasingly being shifted into the buildservice though, except for those which can't be commercially distributed. Good information about all those repositories can be found by following the link I posted earlier. Btw if you have a LAN with more than one computer, setting up SLP is really cool. It basically works the same as DHCP, but instead of sending a broadcast "give me an IP address" it's "give me installation sources". In yast select SLP instead of URL as new source to add. If you copy the install DVD onto a harddisk, mount it, serve it with vsftpd, and list it with the SLP server, you can install any box on the LAN by booting the first CD/DVD/netinstall ISO and selecting SLP as installation source. I wouldn't run an installfest without it. Volker -- Volker Kuhlmann is list0570 with the domain in header http://volker.dnsalias.net/ Please do not CC list postings to me.
