My Logitec works fine on my ubuntu machine, although it's only one way at a time... Not sure if that's a problem with the software or the driver though! I'm on my other laptop at the moment though so I can't tell you the model (I believe most newish Logitecs are pretty much plug-n-play under ubuntu though). Ben
