Looks to me like the bios on the new 64bit mobo is a dud when it comes to running anything 64bit (we don't care about billyware here). Did you try booting a live disk in safe mode with acpi etc and everything else off? If that doesn't work, and your google search results in this mobo working under Linux in 64bit, the board is probably faulty. If google doesn't show anyone who has a working one of these mobos, post your finding in a public place carefully identifying make and model of mobo, and return it for a refund.
