I've been very lax about updating it myself, because URPMI runs as root, and it has taken me a long time to get used to the idea of using a root-user program on the Internet. However, it does work, quickly and efficiently. i set URPMI up recently, installed nasm the other night with "urpmi nasm" and it looked up the proper mirror, downloaded it and installed it without turning a hair.
