Thats odd, mine says "Avidemux 2.4 (r3322):"

(Thats on windows admittedly).

Anyway, give it a try. It looks like support was added at around r2321.

reproduced from the avidemux forum:

"* Load original file
* Set audio & video to copy
* Set output format to mpeg PS
* save as foobar.mpg

it should be fast)

Then you can edit foobar.mpg, same settings
It is better to go through the intermediate file as mpg handling is much
better than asf handling
(devilish format used natively by msdvr files)"
