Maybe "distro war" was a bad choice of phrase but I do agree with what
Barry and Steve have said, that is, the interesting bits will be the
differences not the similarities.

For example, I might show off Mepis, synaptic, the standard (included)
packages, the install time (usually less than 15 minutes), NTFS read/write
standard, multimedia setup (a breeze) etc. etc.

Or I might show Sabayon or gentoo and emerge: or SuSE and YaST.....

If all distros do it the same then forget it.
