Being a Greenie..

One must answer 'No [more wars]!' to

"Distro war - should we have one?"

That said, accommodation is prepared - 30x P4-2.6GHz/512MB for LiveCD demos - and a post-Cathedral, Bazaar-like format envisaged (ESR), for this year's Software Freedom Day: 15-16 Sept in South Chch Library.

That is, if we can all agree to "live and let live" - every distro available to us. Let this be an exercise in cooperation, where each distro / *nix advocate can be given equal chance to shine - and to back each other up - in our collective work.

Bring your favourite LiveCD to show off / trade / sell / give away / install for newbies - we shall advertise a 'Fest - so that together we can meet the unknown level of demand; did anyone hear RNZ @ 11.45am today? - big ups for the cause! -

Similarly, all ethnicities are most thoroughly welcome at SFD.

Have you got a LiveCD to hand?

I have Mepis 6.5 and 7Beta1 and Sabayon

Sorted. "Come one, come all"..

Cheers, Rik
