Unhelpful answer: change the bindings for the command that invokes lspell with whatever flags work from the command line for that purpose. I don't know lspell; perhaps it responds to environment variables that need to be exported into the command invocation from emacs. Also, as it's been many years since I last hacked on emacs, I can't tell you how to achieve the goal :-| But it may help you look in the right direction :-) -jim
