He's not forgotten the pipe sign symbol '|' immediately to the left of

Finally produced a vcd which geekzbox can play, but not mplayer (no
sound) or xine (nothing) and the aspect is square, not 4:3.
mplayer & xine & totem can play the original.vcd file video only, no sound
Commands used were:
1. ffmpeg -i ./muddleton-4.avi -target pal-vcd ./muddleton-4.vcd
(guide from man ffmpeg)
2. vcdimager -t vcd2 -l "Muddleton-4" -c Muddleton.cue -b
Muddleton.bin muddleton-4.vcd
3. cdrdao write --device /dev/hdc Muddleton.cue
I now have 2 queries
1. To get the correct aspect ratio should I have -aspect 4:3
immediately after ffmpeg?
2. What codecs am I missing?. mplayer from a term gives.....
