Jo and I have different CF cards for our cameras.
The 1gb 40x card does accept the data much faster. The older cards slow
the camera down quite a bit.
When we got the first DSLR camera we thought that it must be taking time
processing the JPG image to put on the card.
Some time later we got a Canon 400D with a 1gb 4x card in it.
Just for fun I decided to drop the card in our Fiji 9600 and was quite
surprised to find that it would snap off 10mpix just about as fast as I
hit the shutter button.
I wonder what they do to the ram in the CF to make it 40 or 133 times
faster?
