5.1 sound is worth having if you are a movie fan. You can get a player
that supports 5.1 sound for not much more.

Perhaps you didn't read the message about earlier cards not having TV
Out supported in later versions of X? I don't think there is a lot of
prospect.

Someone would need to bring a TV as well.
