No you can't, not with absolutely 0 stock...

Thanks for the tip though, but almost 3x the price is a tad annoying.
Which models do you have hotswap experience with?

Btw the "hotswap" on the VT6421 card can be made to "work" by reloading
the sata_via module, obviously only while none of the disks is in use.
