Up 'till a couple of months ago, I connected to the internet through a proxy server but now I dont. In Ubuntu, I've managed to unset all the proxy settings, but I've just found that apt-get still wants to use them. There's nothing in /etc/apt/apt.conf or /etc/bash.bashrc which seem to be the places you go to turn a proxy on. Any ideas where else I should look for rogue settings?
