Also - I have a Ubuntu 8.04 PPC disk I have been trying to install onto
an iMac G3. It boots, starts to install, then says it cannot find the
CD. It is not that important so I have not spent much time trying to
track down the problem, but it annoys me :-|
So anyone got any ideas?

Hmmm.. At Software Freedom Days at this venue we get a range on
specialists who, between them, usually get through this kind of / range
of problem/s.
So, by all means bring this machine along, & we'll see if a Mac
specialist attends to assist you.
