I have had a few dealings with telecoms people, who get real twichy about that. 
Still, write figures for USB flash it still terrible whatever... what happened 
to 480Mbit/sec!

I recall someone built a raid array out of these not long ago... I expect he'll 
be disappointed with the write performance, too!
