Hi all, I just did an apt-get update/upgrade on my Acer Aspire One running Mepis 8.0 and the suspend function has ceased to work.
Until now the system has worked flawlessly, and I can shut the lid of the laptop to suspend and open it and hit a button to wake it up. Now it's broken and I'm sad. Not only that, but the Fn-F4 key (sleep key) no longer does anything, and the options to configure button actions in kpowersave to suspend-to-RAM and suspend-to-disk are gone, as is the shortcut to suspend in the kpowersave right-click menu. I don't know how it's supposed to work, but it was working. Googling doesn't give me much of a handle on the problem. The Mepis forum has no mention of this problem (and they usually support the Acer Aspire One quite well). Any clues? Thanks in advance, Andrew
