Yes did that too but its still erroring out. Any way re the recompile of kde3, big changes have take place. I was talking with Pam Roberts and it seems that first up the compile has changed enough to this: #1 You _NEED_ to upgrade to autoconf 2.52, automake 1.5 and libtool 1.4 #2 the compile method has changed to: kdesupport arts kdelibs kdebase kdeaddons (They do say do this last) Now kde 2.2.2 and kde3.0rc2 download areas do _NOT_ have kdesupport therein. Hence you cannot compile without striking the -lprce error, I am using the cvs as a compile basis as this does have kdesupport. Guess it would work for 3.0rc2, but no idea about 2.2.2, hence I am compiling 3.0 and doing rpms for that -- Keith Antoine (GANDALF) aka 'skippy' 18 Arkana St, The Gap, Queensland 4061 Australia PH:61733002161 Retired Geriatric, Sometime Electronics Engineer, Knowall, Brain in storage _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list - http://linux-sxs.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-users Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Archives, and Digests are located at the above URL.
