It virtuall needs the base system upgrading just to start with, and as for kde its now 3 iterations behind. I installed it and started to upgrade but the job was just too big and the install was not as good as the 2.4. So being that I am a masochist at heart and the girl friend gave me a Helium baloon and a bag of 'plaster of Paris' just to keep my end up, I decide to take deps' suggestion and do a 2.4 complete update, using the original disk. Installs the lot and write it back to a disk. -- Keith Antoine (GANDALF) aka 'skippy' 18 Arkana St, The Gap, Queensland 4061 Australia PH:61733002161 Retired Geriatric, Sometime Electronics Engineer, Knowall, Brain in storage _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list - http://linux-sxs.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-users Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Archives, and Digests are located at the above URL.
