Can you "tune" the Linux IP stack? My email programs get hung frequently when downloading POP email. Tried Kmail, Slypheed and Mozilla mail. All exhibit this trait.
It seems to have started when I converted to this 2-way satellite Internet (high latency). Can the Linux IP stack be tuned to better cope with it.
