Collins What you say is true, but one thing, we all have opinions. Now know the old saying opinions are like noses, everyone got one<g>. At least he got a rounded opinions and that givies info to work on, may not be swayed, but hearing different views does make a difference. At least with Linux, there are people to talk to and get to know. Try that with M$ sludge @ $500 a pop..
On a slightly different note, ran into a couple who are getting a new hard drive for a older system, Win9x, and thinking of upgrading to ME. Explained to them about Linux, and how they could just add a little memory and still have a very nice system. He has a PII 266 with 32 meg mem. He said that sounded great & would look into it. Maybe a new convert. Who knows. I guess every chance we get to tell someone about Linux, we should! cheers -- Rick Sivernell Dallas, Texas 75287 972 306-2296 [EMAIL PROTECTED] Caldera Open Linux eWorkStation 3.1.1 Registered Linux User .~. / v \ /( _ )\ ^ ^ In Linux we trust! _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list - http://linux-sxs.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-users Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Archives, and Digests are located at the above URL.
