Stick by your guns, Michael!  Interestingly enough, the same sort of
responses popped up on the xfce list as well.  One of the local
stalwarts goes by the motto:  "Whatever it is, I'm against it."

Now if we really wanted to start a flame war, we could question the
usefullness of emacs or people to whom "RMS is my kinda guy!". <grin>
