Thanks for clearing this up. Gentoo among others still believe that the FHS requires everything to be dumped in the /usr file structure. Also, one remaining point. I thought Redhat was complient, since the FHS seems to have adopted almost intact the Redhant filesystem and maintenance (RPM) structure.
