Not promising anything...They don't include any alternative tools which I
can use which ARE friendly to native configs.  Besides, it'll take time. 
You can't rush love, you know  :)

Actually, it does give me SOME relief, since UnitedLinux is based on SuSE.
 I'm still very partial to COL, partly because it was my first LinLove,
but mainly because they seem to do things a lot like I would.  But SuSE
sure does have a lot of compiled apps... and they have IPSEC compiled into
the kernel and freeswan utils included...  We'll see how this relationship
plays out when the initial excitement wears off and I'm stuck with just
plain SuSE, not Glamorous Barbie SuSE :)
