Hey Llama- Here's one up your alley. In COL, they have /etc/modules/default as a file to list modules to be loaded at startup. Is there such a thing in RH 7.[2-3]? This has been buggerin' me for a while. Today, someone asked me how to load the ipchains module be default. I know that it can be loaded from a firewall script or from rc.local, but it made me wonder yet again just how RedHat DOES module management in the 7.x series... I've heard that it's all probed at startup each time (which sounds scarily like plug-n-pray to me), but I don't know the details. Then I remembered that you maintain a lot of RH boxen so I thought you might know. Thanks.
