Another thing you may find usefull is APC Cache (an open source Zend Cache). So, this is not what you are asking for, but should improve your server performance. http://apc.communityconnect.com/download.html Finally, I'm using Smarty (smarty.php.net), is a template system that includes its own cacheing system.
