first -- that red cursor *is* cool -- so is the red i-beam. second, you might want to drop a note about this to alan. third -- are you getting the drivers as source? are there equivalent drivers in the kernel source? (i used to have to juggle these when trying to get dri to work with my matrox card two years or so ago. there was one point where the only way i could make it all work was to compile the dri stuff and g-400.o [i think that was its name] actually *into* the kernel. not as modules. ended up with the fastest gl rendering i've seen before or since. so you might want to do a little experimentation in this regard.) second -- when you do get it working, reward yourself with the very latest version of xscreensaver; the gl stuff in them now will knock your socks off. an order of magnitude more elaborate than anything there before. i still think there's money in getting big plasma displays and putting embedded linux and xscreensavers in 'em and selling 'em as dynamic wall art. -- dep http://www.linuxandmain.com -- outside the box, barely within the envelope, and no animated paperclip anywhere. _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe/Suspend/Etc -> http://www.linux-sxs.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
