I would like to buy some economical computers on ebay. I will need three at work
and I'll be able to pick them out, me thinks. I have a reasonable budget so
I am not trying to scrimp, but I don't want to over spend, either.

One has to likely run windows98, the others maybe linux. This will be
graphically intensive work (capturing 4 million pixel images from a nikon
camera) and manipulating same later on.

So, is a Duron chip worth looking at? They seem to be the cheapest,
likely for a good reason. Athlons work fine with linux. Does Athlon XP
work with linux?

Thanks,
Joel
